Charles L. Mohns, age 87 years of Elroy,
passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Mile Bluff Medical Center in
Mauston, Wisconsin.

passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Mile Bluff Medical Center in
Mauston, Wisconsin.
He was born to Fred and Nettie (Leuth) Mohns in the Town of Plymouth, Juneau County, Wisconsin.
Charlie lived in Elroy most of his life where he graduated from Elroy High School in 1942. He was a dairy farmer, worked at Ray-O-Vac for 10 years and later at the DelMonte Canning Plant in Arlington, WI.
Survivors include several cousins; 1st cousins - Charles & Rose Leuth, James Leuth, Charlotte Smith and Adeline Crandall; 2nd cousins - Mary (Preuss) Sterba, Rev. Edward Zaiser, Kathryn Oelschlager, Richard Preuss, Wayne Preuss, Dale Preuss, Larry Preuss, Michael & Deb Leuth and Sandra & Bachar) Baza; and also good friends, Don & Jayne Beaver and Allan & Elaine Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy with Rev. Edward Zaiser officiating. Burial will follow in the Elroy City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy on Wednesday from Noon until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elroy United Methodist Church.The family would also like to thank the Crestview Nursing Home and Staff for the wonderful care over the past years.
