She was born on April 8, 1932 to Joseph and Agnes (Stanek) Fanta in the Town of Union, Vernon County, Wisconsin. Ellen was united in marriage to Robert A. Hynek on September 11, 1951 in Hillsboro. In addition to her being a homemaker, they farmed for many years near Yuba, following retirement they moved into Hillsboro. Survivors include her husband, Robert of Hillsboro; sons, Randall (Michele) of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Lennis (Barbara) of Sparta and Terry of Ironton; grandchildren, April (Steve) Langelett, Julie (Scott) Owen, Emily (Nate) Cannon and Alicia Hynek (Matthew Phillips); step grandchildren, Stephen (Amanda) Blanchette, Richard (Jessica) Blanchette, and Sara, Aemilia, Peter, Catherine, Gretchen and Gregory Gray; great grandchildren, Addie and Payton; step great grandchildren, Colebrin, Parker, and Patton; and a sister, Josephine Subera of LaFarge. She was preceded in death by her Parents; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hynek; sister, Martha Sebranek; and brothers, Emil, Edward, Richard, Rudolph and Raymond Fanta. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Rev. Alan Tripp officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. |
