Ervin I. Schultz, age 70 years, of rural Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 23, 1941 to Harold P. and Marcella (Wright) Schultz in Wisconsin Rapids.  He grew to adulthood at Elroy, graduating from the Elroy High School in 1959.  Ervin was united in marriage to Romona Miller on June 10, 1961; she preceded him in death on October 12, 1976.  He later married Annetta Robson on June 25, 1977.

Ervin enjoyed his life as a farmer on his family farm where they raised Belted Galloway Cattle.  He also had worked as a milk hauler.

Survivors include his wife, Annetta of Elroy; mother, Marcella (Wencil) Stepka of Hillsboro; children, Sheryl (Mark) Dobbratz of Kendall and Scott (Sheri) Schultz of Elroy; step children, Michael (Pam) Robson of Coon Valley, Patricia (James) Taylor of Hillsboro and Jerry (Debbie) Robson of Elroy; grandchildren, Tanner, Troy, Tara, Shawna, Shalyn, Andi, Danni, DJ, Donnie, Bobby, Becky and Kelsey; nine Great Grandchildren; and a sister, Linda (Butch) Siebecker of Mauston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; wife, Romona; infant son, Shawn; grandson, Scott Jr.; and 2 sisters, Carol Tracy and an infant, Jane.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Elroy, with Pastor Mike Gjefle officiating.  Burial will be in the Millards Prairie Cemetery, rural Elroy.  Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
