James S. “Jim” Baller, age 61 years, of New Lisbon and formerly of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Serenity House in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Jim was born on October 17, 1948 to Chris and Opal (Stager) Baller at Hillsboro and graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1966.  He has worked for the Walker’s Stainless Steel for 43 years; he also enjoyed hobbies of woodworking and painting.

Survivors include his sister, Judy (Duwain) Skinner of Elroy; nephews, Matt (Amanda) Skinner and Edward Skinner, both of Elroy; four great nephews and a great niece.  He was preceded in death by his Parents and two infant Brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.  Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.
