Jimmy Dick McLees, age 82 years, of Milwaukee and formerly of Hillsboro, passed
away on Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He was born on July 6, 1929 in Vernon County, Wisconsin to Carl and Jennie (Davis) McLees. He attended school in Hillsboro and then served from 1946 to 1952 in the U.S. Army, being honorably discharged as a Sergeant.
Jimmy Dick was united in marriage to Gladys Vrbsky on May 23, 1953 in Hillsboro. They lived at Milwaukee for many years and retired to Lyndon Station. He was an over the road semi truck driver. She preceded him in death on April 5, 1999.
Survivors include his sons, Mark (Cathy) McLees and David (Renee) McLees, both of Milwaukee; grandson, Aaron McLees, serving in the U.S. Air Force; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, Gladys; he was preceded in death by his Parents, Carl and Jennie; stepfather, Lloyd Allds; sisters, Vera Greeley Foss and Carla Doreen O’Neil; and brothers, Daryl Wayne McLees and Clair “Bud” McLees.
A gathering time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with a Memorial Service held at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Donald Ehler officiating.
