Joseph M. McCluskey, age 67 years, of Elroy, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

He was born on March 23, 1944 to Lawrence and Margaret (Stabnow) McCluskey in Richland County, Wisconsin.  Joseph was united in marriage to Barbara Litz on January 22, 1971 in Richland Center.  They farmed in the Yuba / Fox Ridge area for several years prior to moving to Elroy where they have resided for about 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Elroy; children, Tracy McCluskey of Hillsboro, Joseph McCluskey Jr. (Dena Giesen) of Elroy and Michael McCluskey of Elroy; stepchildren, Linnea Hicks, Scott Hoffman, and Vicki Zilisch; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; brothers, James McCluskey and Bill McCluskey; and sister, Bridget Machovec.  He was preceded in death by his Parents and a brother, Bob McCluskey.
