Julia
M. Dvorak, age 93 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009
at her residence at Kindred Hearts in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
She was born on March 24, 1916 to Jacob and
Anne (Preslik) Sebranek at Dilly, Wisconsin. She grew to adulthood in the Dilly
area and attended the Hillsdale School. Julia was united in marriage to Leo E.
Dvorak on February 23, 1938 at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro.
They farmed in the area and she worked at Ray-O-Vac until 1960, when they moved
to Milwaukee. In Milwaukee she was a Bakery Manager at Sentry Foods and later
worked at Marshall Fields. Following retirement, they moved back to Hillsboro,
on November 12, 2006, Leo preceded her in death. More recently, Julia made her
new home at Kindred Hearts. She was a faithful member of the St. Aloysius
Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet (Ron)
Jasper of Cazenovia and her son, Richard (Dianne) Dvorak of Big Bend; six
grandchildren, Susan (Greg), Tammy (Greg), Lori (John), Melissa (Jason), Matthew
(Ann), and Sarah; ten Great-grandchildren; a Great-great-grandson; a brother,
Emil (Helen) Sebranek of Hillsboro; and four sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sebranek
of Tomah, Marvelene Sebranek of Milwaukee, Bessie Sebranek of Hillsboro, and
Bessie Dvorak of Nashotah. In addition to her husband, Leo, she was preceded in
death by her Parents, an infant daughter, Virginia; three sisters, Martha Novy,
Emma Novy, and an infant, Elizabeth; and five brothers, John, Edward, Robert,
Albert, and Jim Sebranek.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday,
April 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro,
with Father Joseph Nakwah officiating. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral
