Lillian
F. Barbour, age 89 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, June
1, 2009 at her home.
She was born on September 26, 1919 to
Michael and Emma (Benish) Cervenka in the Town of Union. Lillian was united in
marriage to Robert J. Barbour on October 25, 1937 in Hillsboro. They farmed in
the Town of Union until 1967 when they moved into Hillsboro. She worked at the
Garment Factory in Hillsboro for many years and was a member of St. Aloysius
Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1987.
Survivors include her children, Donald
(Rosemary) Barbour of Hillsboro, Patsy (Dave) Aubart of Hayward, Judy Muller
(Dan Blaha) of Hillsboro, Carol (Rodney) Preuss of Elroy, and Richard (Linda)
Barbour of LaCrosse; thirteen Grandchildren; and sixteen Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Robert; she was preceded in death by her Parents;
two sisters, Agnes Rabata and Adeline Krajco; and two brothers, Emil and James
Cervenka.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00
a.m. at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Hillsboro, with Father Joseph Nakwah
officiating. Burial will be in the Czechs National Cemetery near Yuba.
Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Wednesday from 5 to 8
p.m. and at the Church on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
