Mark O. Beyer, age 56 years, of rural Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin after many years of chronic illness. He was born on December 3, 1952 to William and Dorothy (Schmitz) Beyer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Brookfield High School in 1970 and then graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in Biology. Mark served in the U.S. Air Force from 1977 to 1978. He returned to school and received a degree in Nursing from UW-Milwaukee and followed with a Masters degree in Spiritual Psychology. Mark was united in marriage to Leanne LaBelle in 1987 in Brookfield. He worked in various hospitals in the Milwaukee area as a Nurse until his illness no longer allowed him to. They lived in the Hillsboro area for past 17 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in the garden. Survivors include his wife, Leanne and five children, Katelyn, Rachel, Christian, Emily, and Philip, all of rural Hillsboro; mother, Dorothy Beyer of Ocala, Florida; sisters, Karen Beyer of Dousman, Cheryl (Randy) Boesel of Dousman, Pamela (Patrick) Riley of Oconomowoc; a brother, Quinn (Julie) Beyer of Alisio Veijo, California; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Pastor Kevin Lawver officiating. Burial will be in the Debello Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. |
