Mary
M. Weber, age 95 years, of Elroy, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at
St. Josephs Hospital in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
She was born on October 1, 1916 to Anton and Helen (Kuglitsh) Mack at Iron Mountain, Michigan. She grew to adulthood at Mauston where she graduated from the Mauston High School. Mary was united in marriage to George G. Weber Sr. on June 26, 1937 at Zion Lutheran Church. They farmed near Elroy for many years prior to moving into Elroy. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2005. Mary was a member of the Millards Prairie Homemakers and Garden Club and the Zion Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. She enjoyed the many visits from her grand kids and great grand kids.
Survivors include her children, Caroline (Paul) Stekel of Hillsboro, Mary Ann (Jon) Gollmar of New Lisbon, George A. Jr. (Beverly) Weber of Elroy and John (Deborah) Weber of Elroy; 17 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband, George; she was preceded in death by her Parents; brothers, Ignes and Anton; and sisters, Theresa, Helen and Josephine.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Elroy, with Rev. Conrad Prell officiating. Burial will be in the Millards Prairie Cemetery, rural Elroy. Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting the family.
