Maxine Raese

Maxine Mary Raese, age 60 years, of Union Center passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at her residence, the same house in which she was born on October 30, 1948 to Edgar and Erma (Leverington) Moore. 

She was a home health aid to many people and had worked at the Sauk County Nursing Home and Heritage Manor until injuring her back.  Her family was everything to her and she loved them all very much.  She also loved her dog, Sadie; hunting, fishing and karaoke.  She was always there to help people out. 

Survivors include two sons, Joshua (friend, Kelly and daughter, Mia) Raese of Alanson, Michigan and Jeffrey (friend, Tessa and two children Arien and Amber) Raese of Tomah; a granddaughter, Aria Mae Raese; a brother, Michael (Donna) Moore of Milton; two sisters, Marjorie (Paul) Evert of Barneveld and Marian (Vincent) Treinen of Janesville; special friend, John Sietz of Mauston; several nieces, nephews and many special friends.  She was preceded in death by her Parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church in Elroy with Pastor Mara Pehkonen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pine Eden Cemetery, Wonewoc.  Friends may call at the Picha Funeral Home, Elroy on Friday from 4 – 8 PM and at the church on Saturday from Noon until 1:30 PM.
