Robert Ray Burnard of Orlando, FL passed away on September 13, 2011 of cancer.
He was born at St Josephs Hospital in Hillsboro, WI on January 15, 1950 to Eva Ruth (Lewis) and Clarence Ray Burnard and grew up in Elroy, WI. After graduating from Royall High School, he attended MATC in Madison.
He was a diesel mechanic and air conditioning expert at ABC Bus, then at Setra Coaches. At the time of his death he was a parts manager for Kenworth Trucks. His work allowed him to travel to Antwerp, Belgium. While in Europe, he toured England and France. He lived most of his adult life in the Orlando area.
He is survived by a son, Christopher of Chicago, IL, a brother, Dan (Beth) of Columbus and sister-in-law, Dixie of Stoughton and two nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gerald and Carl.
His ashes will be buried in the Elroy Cemetery at a later date. The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy assisted with arrangements.
