Deane A. Hellpap

Deane A. Hellpap Deane A. Hellpap, age 76 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at his home.   He was born on July 2, 1945 to Arthur and Regina (Wellman) Hellpap at Wonewoc.  He graduated from the Wonewoc Center High School and later from WWTI in La Crosse in Auto Mechanics.   Deane has lived in the Wonewoc area all his life.  He worked at Grede Foundry in Reedsburg, retiring after 40 years of employment.   Deane enjoyed summer vacations with family at Lake Namakagon.  He could sit for hours enjoying nature and the beautiful surroundings.  Along those similar lines he could often be found locally telling stories, enjoying a few beers and spending time with many friends.   He was loved by many and will be greatly missed, family members surviving include his children, Lisa Nelson of Reedsburg, Ellen (Brian) Byington of Wonewoc, Jodi Loveland of Janesville, Brenda (Richard) Mootz of Westfield and Jeremy (Kari) Hellpap of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kelley (Eric) Basinger, Chelsea Nelson, Briane (Aaron) Benn, Bryce (Stephanie) Loveland and Cody (Maria) Fawcett; great grandchildren, Carson, Evalynn, Keaton, Arya and Aurora; sisters, Anona Zumstein of Mc Farland and Judy (Dennis) Wright of Reedsburg and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Parents and a sister, Betty Ennis.   A private family memorial service will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc on Saturday, November 6, 2021 followed by a Celebration of Deane's Life for family and friends at The Holy Cow in Union Center at 1:00 PM.
