Douglas E Raiten

Douglas E. Raiten, age 58 years, of Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home.

He was born on January 10, 1963 to Arvid and Nola (Worthington) Raiten in Sparta.  He grew up in the Elroy area and attended Royall High School.

Doug worked as a fabricator and welder for Walkers and Toro.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He loved the outdoors and going hunting, fishing and camping, along with motorcycle rides.

Survivors include his children, Cassandra Bollig (James Wilson) of Tomah, Doug Raiten Jr. (Ashley Lueck) of Elroy and Sabrina (Rodney) Johnston of Tomah; grandchildren, Teighan, Tamorack, Lleott, Sophia, Haylee, Sophie, Victoria, Corbin, Jenna and Daniel; siblings, Stanley Raiten (Linda Pellegrin) of New Lisbon and Megan (Shawn) Farnum of Wonewoc and nieces and a nephew.  He was preceded in death by his Parents.

A Celebration of Doug’s Life will take place with a time of visitation to be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy.
