John A. Eastman, age 78 years, of Mauston, Wisconsin and formerly of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Gundersen Health Systems in La Crosse.
He was born on May 1, 1943 to John B. and Alene (Clark) Eastman in Juneau County, Wisconsin. He grew to adulthood in the Hillsboro area and graduated from the Hillsboro High School. John served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966.
John was united in marriage to Sherry Langer on July 24, 1970 in Winona, Minnesota.
He enjoyed woodworking, collecting Carnival Glass and walking the dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry; children, Mike (Kim) Eastman and Theresa (Russell) Breaux; grandchildren, Jordan Kinsman, Hayley Bass, Caleb Bass and Thoran Evans; great grandchildren, Amara Kinsman, Avery Kinsman and Elijah Bass; sisters-in-law, Marlene Householder, Karen Langer and Deb Langer; brother-in-law, Terry Langer and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Joyce Eastman and brothers-in-law, Arnold Householder and Lyall Langer.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church – 420 Suszycki Drive, Mauston, with Pastor Anita Genrich officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.
