Julianne Barker

Julianne Barker, age 67 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse following a short illness.

She was born on June 10. 1955 to Charles and Phyllis (Clausen) Barker in Iowa City, Iowa.

Julianne was married to David Merollo and moved from Milwaukee to Hillsboro after falling in love with the area.  A favorite place to visit was Wildcat Mountain State Park.

She was a practicing attorney in Hillsboro with her own firm, Barker Law Office.  Julianne and David worked together here for many years.  He preceded her in death on December 1, 2020.

Julianne was a past president of the Hillsboro Lions Club.

Survivors include her brother, Stephen Barker; sister, Barbara Barker (Mark Stoler); nieces, Amy Winslow, Allison Morse and Genevieve Stoler and a nephew, Nicholas Stoler.

In addition to her husband, David; she was preceded in death by her Parents and a brother, Richard Scott Barker.

No Services are scheduled at this time.
