Kenneth Wayne Miller, age 82 years, of rural Wonewoc, Wisconsin, died on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
He was born on September 18, 1940 to Ralph and Margaret (Rott) Miller in Woodland township, Sauk County, Wisconsin and graduated from Wonewoc Center High School in 1958.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Judith Bell on May 9, 1959.
Judy and Ken lived on and worked the Bell family farm, where they both still resided. Ken retired from dairy farming in 1999 and continued raising beef cattle for a few years after.
In his later years his greatest passions in life were spending time with his loving family, gardening, and making many flavors of wine in the basement.
Also, in his retirement he enjoyed spending time restoring the John Deere tractors that he used for years on the farm. He continued to be active and productive, helping where ever he was needed.
He is survived by his wife Judith; his children, Heidi Bower (Mike Kesling) of Owen, Wi, Hollie of Wonewoc, Mark (Susan) of Wonewoc, Matt (Lori) of Wonewoc, Hope (Gregg) Ely of Reedsburg and Mitch (Shannon) from Wonewoc. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; his sister, Veronica Ennis of Wonewoc and sister-in-law, Nancy Jensen of Camp Douglas.
He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother; his brothers, Duane and Roger and son-in-law, Kelvin Bower.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Wonewoc, with Rick Tyler officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in La Valle. A time of visitation will be on Sunday, December 4th from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc and Monday at the Church from 10 to 11 a.m.
