LaVonne L Ott

LaVonne L. Ott, age 86 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Elroy Health Services in Elroy, Wisconsin.

She was born on December 15, 1936 to Albert and Genevieve (Wells) Madden in Mauston.

LaVonne was united in marriage to Lloyd “Mick” Ott on April 16, 1955.

They farmed near Wonewoc for many years and then moved into Wonewoc following retirement.

LaVonne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc and was a member of the Ladies Aid, also serving a President.  She also assisted in the meal program for the St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd “Mick” Ott; daughter, Laurie (Darrel) Nyen; son, Danny (Becky) Ott; grandchildren, Danielle Ott, Dustin Ott, Hillary (Danny) Weiss, Nicholas Nyen and Dylan Reget and great grandchildren, Mason Ott, Weston Ott and Liam Weiss.

LaVonne was preceded in death by her Parents; daughter, Tammy Reget on 12/23/2009 and sister, Carole Smart.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wonewoc, with Rev. Peter Snyder officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wonewoc.  Visitation will be at the Church on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m.
