Leonard P. Huschka

Leonard P. Huschka, age 91 years, of Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Elroy Health Services in Elroy.

He was born on January 25, 1931 to John Thomas and Christina (Hendricks) Huschka in Elroy, where he grew to adulthood and graduated from the Elroy High School.

Leonard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Leonard was united in marriage to Betty Glaze on May 27, 1957 in Colorado.

They lived in Colorado and in Lubbock, Texas where they operated a wholesale parts company until they retired and moved to Elroy.

He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elroy, the Knights of Columbus and was a long-standing member of the 4th Degree.

Survivors include their son, James Huschka (Kassy Coleman); grandchildren, Klahryn Huschka and Stephen (Nicole) Huschka and a great granddaughter, Avery.

A private family Mass of Christian will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Elroy, with Father John officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Elroy.

The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting with arrangements.
