Lynne S Rudy

Lynne Susan Rudy, age 69, of Elroy, Wisconsin, died on Friday, March 29, 2024 after a short illness.

She was born on April 28, 1954 in Rockford, Illinois to Elmer and Margaret Rudy.  Lynne attended Augustana College and graduated from Northern Illinois University.

Lynne moved to Elroy, Wisconsin after her college graduation to begin her teaching career.  She spent her entire professional life teaching in Elroy the surrounding area.

When she wasn’t teaching, Lynne enjoyed camping, hiking, reading, and playing cards and scrabble with friends.  She enjoyed traveling to many National Parks.

She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Margaret Rudy.

She was loved and will be deeply missed by her siblings, nieces and nephews, friends and her cats (Spatz and Smax).

Her family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church in Elroy.  The 11:00 a.m. service will be followed by a luncheon.

The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting with arrangements.
