Mathew J Lewerenz

Mathew John Lewerenz, age 34 years, of rural Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at home.

He was born on August 5, 1988, the son of Laurie (Scott) and Dean Lewerenz.  Mathew graduated from the Royall High School.

He loved spending time with his one and only son, Nicholas Lewerenz.  He also loved deer hunting, horses, demoing and being goofy at fairs.

Mathew was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy; his mom, Laurie; stepmom, Cokey; and grandparents, Ed and Laura Lewerenz and Ron Scott.

Mathew is survived by his son, Nicholas and Nicholas’ mother, Shannon Hug; his dad, Dean Lewerenz (Amy and Miranda); brother, Josh Lewerenz; grandma, Cal Scott and many aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Elroy.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy assisted the family with arrangements.
