Mayva G. Haugh Mayva Gene Haugh, age 78 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Gundersen St. Joseph's Hospital in Hillsboro. She was born on October 25, 1942 on the family farm in Union Township to Percy and Lodemia (Berg) Revels. She was the youngest of seven children. She attended school at Maple Grove Elementary and Hillsboro High School. Mayva married Frank Haugh on March 17, 1970. They spent 65 years together as a couple. Frank and Mayva farmed in Rockton and in White City, mostly growing tobacco with their family. They moved in to Hillsboro in 1975. Over the years, Mayva worked at the Hillsboro sewing factory, Hillsboro Bakery, Country Style Cooking, and Swiss Colony. She also spent many hours in the garden. Above all, she was a mother to three children, grandmother to nine, and great grandmother to seven. Mayva enjoyed crocheting, reading Old West novels, and watching the Green Bay Packers. Her grandchildren would share that she did not like to be interrupted when watching the game. One of her bucket list items was fulfilled when she was able to go to a game at Lambeau Field. She always wanted to see Mt. Rushmore, and she was able to do that as well. Mayva loved to bake during the holidays with her great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo and she loved playing the penny slot machines at the casino. She loved all animals, especially those pets that were her "grandbabies." Her grandchildren remember her being that "sassy" little grandma. She was fondly called many nicknames by her children and grandchildren, "Gram", "Grammy" and "Gram-Cracker." They loved her smirk and many stories about her younger days. She had so much love for her family, but she especially doted on the great grandchildren. She loved being with them more than anything else. Mayva is survived by her husband Frank; children, Judith (Brian) Schlieckau, Joseph (Robin) Haugh, and Jonathon Haugh; grandchildren, Lukas (Emily) Levy, Juliann (Marques) Crary, Justin Haugh, Chase Haugh, Travis Haugh (Kristin Zumach), Stephanie (James) Smizek, Autumn Schlieckau (Justin Mack) and Andrea Schlieckau; great grandchildren, Makenna, Izabell, Jocelyn, Kase, Remy, August and Ellie; brother, James (Tiny) Revels; sisters, Vivian Machovec, Arlene Johnson, Leona (Kenneth) Kelbel and Lucy Scott; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents; brother, Bernie Revels and grandson, Brock Haugh. Her grandchildren remember her as a bright and cheerful spot in the toughest of times. She lived a full life and gave her love unconditionally. A Celebration of the Lives of Mayva and Frank Haugh will take place with a Memorial Funeral Service held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 12 noon at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Rev.
