Michael Stanton Obituary

Michael E. Stanton Michael E. Stanton, age 69 years, of Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Crest View Nursing Home in New Lisbon. He was born on November 25, 1951 in Hillsboro to Emmet and Arline (Pagel) Stanton. He grew up in the Elroy area and graduated from the Royall High School and continued his education at different State Universities. Michael served in the Wisconsin National Guard, obtaining the rank of E5, in the 732nd Maintenance Battalion from Mauston and Tomah area. He has lived in Elroy for many years where he volunteered in various community services, most recently with the Food Pantry and Garage Sale at the Grace Lutheran Church in Elroy. He also enjoyed his artwork and writing novels. Interment will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Wonewoc at a later date. The Picha Funeral Home in Elroy is assisting with arrangements.
