Peggy L. Bradley

Peggy L. Bradley, age 68 years, of Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the University Hospital in Madison.

She was born on September 13, 1953 to Chester and Hazel (Owen) Watters in Viroqua.

Peggy was well known in the community for being the produce manager at Hansen’s IGA in Elroy for several years.  When customers walked in, she was often the first face they’d see and she spoke to anyone and everyone.  After she retired, she took on being a medical transport driver where she spread her joy to others in need. 

Peggy adores her grandchildren and they were the lights of her life.  She was much like a parent to them rather than just a grandma.  She enjoyed attending all of their various activities and would do whatever it took to make sure they were cared for. 

Survivors include her daughter, Kris Storkel; grandchildren, Kelsea Storkel, Emma Velazquez, Dylan Velazquez and Jaxon Velazquez; brother, Tom Watters and sister, Diane Weiss.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and a daughter, Cortney Bradley.

A time of visitation celebrating the life of Peggy Bradley will take place on Monday, August 1, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Elroy.
