Roger Arlie Haugh, 77, of Richland Center, WI, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024, at his home. Born on December 9, 1946, in Richland Center, he completed high school in Hillsboro and college at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. Roger lived in various cities throughout Wisconsin before eventually returning to Richland Center, where he made many friends and lived a happy life.
Roger was known for his consistently dry humor and his deep bass singing voice. He had a love for the outdoors, morel mushroom hunting, choir music, politics, and pop culture. A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, he dedicated his life to his family, his community, and his faith, being an active member of the First Congregational Church for many decades.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie James Haugh, and survived by his mother, Carmen Haugh of Yuba; brother, Loren Haugh of Yuba; son, Paul Justin Haugh, married to Gabriele, parents of Roger's two grandchildren, Luke and Liliana, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son, Jared Roger Haugh, married to Mindy Pirkovic, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and longtime girlfriend, Cindy Cooper, of Richland Center. Roger also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss his warmth and spirit.
A memorial funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Picha Funeral Home, 908 Prairie Avenue, Hillsboro, WI, with a time of visitation starting at 10:00 AM. The family invites all who knew Roger to join in celebrating his life and legacy. Interment will be in the Czech’s National Cemetery at Yuba.
