Shirley A Sussek

Shirley A. Sussek, age 62 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the Serenity House in Tomah.

She was born on November 29, 1960 to Morres and Hazel (Brooks) Decot in Reedsburg and graduated from the Wonewoc Center High School. 

Shirley has been married to Randy Sussek for 29 years.

She worked for Ray-O-Vac in Wonewoc and Primex in Reedsburg for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, enjoyed animals and watching the birds and craft work, including cross stitch and needlepoint.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Sussek; children, Craig Sussek, Carrie Ellis (Dustin Jones), Tom (Nicole) Ellis and Jake Sussek (Lupe Mendoza); grandchildren, Allyssa Clark, Camden Thellefsen and Nora Ellis and siblings, Bonita Gamble, Barbara Bohlmann, Ed (Jody) Decot and Nancy (Elmer) Preuss.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and brother, John Jurkowski.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, followed by a gathering at the American Legion Hall in Wonewoc.
