Virginia Elizabeth Cooper passed away on September 1, 2022, in Madison, Wisconsin at the age of 81 years.
She was born on August 31, 1941, in Union Center, Wisconsin to Mary Ann (Cox) Linhart and John Herbert Linhart.
Many knew her as Ginger or Ginny. She loved being an over the road truck driver for many years. She also was a nanny, house cleaner and the one title she held was Mother to her kids.
Her children that survive her are Barbara Hintz of Middleton, Regina Greeley of Monona, Theresa Krell of Monona, Raymond (Jami) McAfee of Portage. Virginia is further survived by her grandchildren, Alex Krell of Idaho, Savannah Cooper of Idaho, and Tori Cooper of McFarland, Brandon Hintz of Monona. Her brother, Lavada “Bucky” (Joyce) Linhart of Mauston/Florence, Arizona and by their children and many cousins. She was also survived by her cat, Saige.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Max Krell, and a very special aunt, Harriet Fortun.
Celebration of Life will be held at Pheasant Branch Apartments in the Community Room 6430 Pheasant Lane, Middleton, Wisconsin on October 15, 2022 at 1 pm. If you would like to wear a little something red since it was her favorite color.
Graveside service will be on October 16, 2022, Hilltop Rest Cemetery in Ontario, Wisconsin at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a monetary donation made out to Ray McAfee to help with funeral expenses.
